The chilly weather is abruptly approaching, but my furnace is not working properly.
I only have a couple weeks before the much cooler weather comes, as well as I have no other way to heat my home.
I have always relied on the same furnace, but the furnace is aging, and the furnace is nearly 20 years old now. It’s lifespan is coming to an end, and when my furnace stopped working well last winter, the HVAC specialist told me that it could be fixed, but I’d be better off replacing it. I wouldn’t have to worry about a ton of breakdowns with an up-to-date furnace, however, I didn’t want to purchase an up-to-date furnace at the time. Instead, I asked the specialist what needed to be fixed on the furnace as well as how much it would cost. The price I was given was outrageous, so I took a mental note of the piece that he said I needed to be substituted. I waited a little, because I didn’t see the necessity of replacing anything on my furnace during the summertime. However, I do now. I’ve taken apart my furnace as well as down everything I can, but my furnace is not working at all. I just can’t find clear instructions online on how to repair my identifiable furnace. However, I do not have enough money to pay the HVAC specialist to repair my furnace either. If I don’t figure out how to repair my furnace myself, my home will be too chilly this winter, as well as I can’t afford to do that. I have a new baby on the way, as well as I have to be a great dad as well as keep my baby heated with the gas furnace!
